Philip J. Brendese, Jr.

A native of Waterford and Lansingburgh, Phil graduated from LaSalle Institute in 1965. He received his BA from Siena College and his degree in Mortuary Science from McAllister Institute in New York City. He and his wife Gerry started the funeral home in 1974 the year after they were wed. He is the father of Dr. P.J. Brendese III, Jeanette M. Brendese, Jonathan J. Brendese and Nicholas J. Brendese.
Phil is a member and past-president of the Waterford Lions Club, a life member of Waterford Knights of Columbus Council #237, a member of the Cohoes-Waterford Elks Lodge, an honorary member of the Waterford Rescue Squad, a Waterford Village Patroon and a lector at St. Mary's Church.
Gerry A. Brendese

Born and educated in North Adams, MA, Gerry A. Bartlett Brendese graduated from St. Joseph’s School and from the North Adams Hospital School of Radiology. She is a retired x-ray technician, a beautician and received her degree in Mortuary Science from Hudson Valley Community College in 1992. She is the wife of Phil Brendese and the mother of Dr. P.J. Brendese III, Jeanette M. Brendese, Jonathan J. Brendese and Nicholas J. Brendese.
Gerry is a member and past president of St. Mary's Altar Society, a Trustee of the Parish, former president of St. Mary's PTA and was a member of the former Waterford Kiwanis Club.
Nicholas J. Brendese

A native of Waterford, Nick is a 2001 graduate of LaSalle Institute in Troy. He received his BSBA from Catholic University in Washington, DC in 2005 and earned his degree in Mortuary Science from Hudson Valley Community College in 2006. He is also a Nationally Certified Pre-Planning Consultant.
Nick is an active volunteer at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Waterford, a member of the Waterford Knights of Columbus Council #237 and Secretary of the Capital District Funeral Directors Association.
